Adele Adkins was once suspended from school for fighting over Pop Idol favourites, physically defending criticism against her school girl crush Will Young.
Will Young was my first proper love. I was obsessed.
The Gareth Gates fans were horrible to me and I wasn’t having any of it. We had a fight and I was called into the head teacher’s office and sent home. It was serious. It was so embarrassing when [eventually] I met Will. I’ve loved him since I was 14, and the first thing that came out my mouth was, ‘I voted for you 5,000 times!’

I love your voice and the fact that you stnd up for what you care about. Once i heard chasing pavements i was captivated and i wanted to buy ur whole cd. Also, when Hometown glory was free on itunes i got it immediatly and not i can’t stop listening to it. Can’t wait to hear more. btw, you should tour with regina spektor… i would love that!
